How Can Surge Protection Work?

A ground cable’s purpose would be to direct any extra current safely into the ground. The surge link in the protector stays inactive until a larger than normal voltage seems. This excess current is then securely redirected through the excess earth wire, directly into the ground. This averts more current than normal from flowing into your appliances effectively making sure they are protected from any injury which can be caused by power surges.
